Electrical Department Overview
Our Electrical Department specialises in Motor Control Centres (MCC) for safe areas and explosion-protected electrical equipment for hazardous locations. We design and supply MCCs that interface seamlessly with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). Our intelligent MCCs facilitate easy remote monitoring by selecting the appropriate protocol or communication bus to connect with the client's control system. We provide both withdrawable and fixed-type MCCs, designed to Form 2 to Form 4 Type 7 construction standards.
A hazardous location is any area where flammable gases, vapours or dusts are present or expected. Electrical equipment used in these locations requires special construction, installation and usage precautions to prevent explosions caused by arcing contacts or high surface temperatures. A risk analysis is crucial before selecting suitable equipment — and our engineers are adept at choosing the right products based on your specific requirements.
We offer comprehensive testing services for your electrical equipment, including desalter transformers, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) combined with pumps, cooling fans and more — including site testing and commissioning.
In addition to our core offerings we focus on comprehensive power management solutions. Our expertise ensures efficient energy distribution, monitoring and control — optimising power usage and enhancing system reliability. By integrating advanced power management technologies we help our clients achieve operational excellence and energy efficiency.

Hazardous-area transformer panels
We provide customised hazardous-area transformer control panels for OEMs involved in packaged equipment for desalter and dehydrator systems. Understanding the signal requirements from the DCS, we design these panels seamlessly — and support customers building small-to-medium plants with all their electrical needs, from generator synchronisation panels to MDB, SMDB, MCC, lighting DB and utility sockets.
Industries we serve
Our qualified engineers serve customers across oil & gas fields, offshore platforms, FPSO, petroleum refineries, chemical plants, sewage treatment plants, aircraft hangars, power plants, petrol depots and terminals — all of which are likely to have hazardous areas.
